About azTeen Magazine

We are not a magazine for parents, teachers, guidance counselors or administrators; though a great many of them enjoy our magazine and appreciate what we are doing. We are a magazine by and for Arizona’s teenagers. We try to cover what matters to them --- timely and topical subjects, fashion, local music, hot products and books, higher-education opportunities, what’s going on in the community and what their peers’ opinions are on matters both vital and minor.

We want to highlight what’s best in Arizona’s high schools but at the same time address the heavier issues facing teens today. We endeavor to speak to teenagers, never at them, which is a big part of the reason that all of our stories are written by the teens themselves.

With 30,000 readers and climbing, we are proud of the work we do at azTeen and would love to hear from our readers. We invite those who would like to be writers, models and photographers to try out for a spot on our team, and we encourage everyone to keep reading and letting us know how you think we’re doing.
