Tragedy Andy Trendy bands come and go, but Tragedy Andy is here to stay.

This hot band from San Francisco has great music and great personality to offer their fans. These four guys obviously share an intense passion for music and it is crystal clear from their performance on stage. They performed for the azTeen Magazine launch party and were such a hit! From all the girls screaming and dancing at the show, it was easy to see that the four guys had a great performance. We sat down with these crazy, fun-loving guys at the AZ Teen photo shoot to learn more about them.

Q: What separates you guys from all of the other up and coming bands?
A: (Isaac jokingly points to his afro.) Well, we all have really great different styles that collaborate really well.

Q: We know that you guys have performed with bands such as Authority Zero, Yellow Card, and Sugar Cult, but who has been your favorite band to perform with?
A: Dropkick Murphys

Q: What are some bands that you guys look up to?
A: The Beatles, Journey, Red Hot Chili Peppers

Q: Were you guys all friends before you started the band?
A: Dusty and Doug have been friends since sixth grade. They met up with Justin in high school, and they added Isaac to the band after they heard him play guitar at a local concert.

Q: We know you have a new album coming out called Real Love is Permanent. Can you tell us a little bit about it and what fans can expect?
A: We wanted to talk about love and not just the kind you find in relationships, but we all have a real love for music that we wanted to share. It’s a really well-rounded CD with lots of variety and mixture. We also produced it ourselves.

Q: What is something you guys would want your fans to know about you?
A: We are all hard working and down to earth.

Q: What is one word to describe each of you?
A: Dusty-obsessive compulsive
Doug- knowledgeable
Isaac- maximum
Justin-passionate

Q: Where is your favorite place to perform?
A: We really just like performing anywhere where fans are to hear us.

Q: How would you guys describe your style?
A: ever-changing.

Q: What is the best thing about being in a band?
A: It’s a great excuse to travel and we love playing for people.

Q: What advice would you give to teens who are trying to make it in the music industry?
A: Don’t give up. Just do it and avoid criticism.
