Join Our MAGAZINE Teen Writing Staff

If you are interested in joining the Published azTeen Magazine staff, apply using the Online Form below. Submit a sample of your writing ability, preferably in a style similar to what you've seen in azTeen Magazine. When describing yourself, please include information about any relevant experience. Chosen candidates will be notified and may be required to attend a meeting at which they will meet the editor and find out more about the opportunities with azTeen Magazine. The printed magazine is published eight times a year and primarily distributed to teen subscribers across Arizona.

Teen Writer Guidelines.

For the print version of the magazine, only teens that attend Arizona High Schools are considered. Candidates must be capable of creating well-written articles that capture reader interest. Writers must be committed to tight publishing deadlines, taking direction, attending status meetings and participating in a team proactive environment. Although there is no monetary compensation, our teen writers gain a valuable learning experience in the world of journalism and magazine publishing working with seasoned professionals. Because of the high level of interest, not all interested high school teens will be selected to join our print magazine staff.
