Poetry. Let It All Out. Its Waves,
Quakes and Colors.
“Poetry.....should strike the reader as
a wording of his own highest thoughts,
and appear almost a remembrance.”
~John Keats, English Poet
(1705-1821)
Whether you’re the next Sylvia Plath, the next coffee shop diva, or the next Slim Shady Lady (rapping ability required here), let your emotions and creativity flow. The subject of your poem or prose can be anything from intense to mundane. Poetry can express the important parts of teenage life whether expressions of joy, passion, romance, love, spirituality, despair, peer pressure, family values, relationships, the world around us or anything of emotional importance to you.
We only accept original poems and poetry creations written by teenagers. The poems must be at least 5 lines long and include a poem title. Not all poems are accepted for publishing on the azTeen magazine website. Click here to submit your poems.
