Life hasn't been easy for Lauren. Growing up in a single parent household, her mom did whatever she could to help make ends meet. Recently, Lauren's mom was diagnosed with breast cancer but that didn't stop Lauren. She took a job working with special needs children to help pay for her mom's medical bills.
Lauren's optimism is what pulls her through each day. She hopes to become a psychologist, which will require a great deal of schooling. Lauren also feels that helping teens figure out life's issues early gives them strength.
It's easy to see that Lauren is an inspiration to everyone.
